TODAY IS ALREADY TOMORROW - Exhibition at Max Ernst Musem, Brühl
JUNE 21st - November 3rd 2024 (Tuesday - Sunday, 11:00 - 18:00h)
The exhibition "TODAY IS ALREADY TOMORROW" is now open at Max Ernst Museum in Brühl.
It is an important milestone not only for bringing Afrofuturistic narratives into the conversation of Surrealism, but also to claim space for new dialogues and people within the landscape of museums in Germany. I am the first artist who was choosen to manifest my vision within the exhibtion series "New Perspectives" and I feel honored to present the results of a deep conversation and creation process of the last 5 months.
I would like to thank all the people who contributed to this exhibition, especially those who speak and have been portrayed. You work every day for a better tomorrow.
Thank you for sharing your voice with the world Lena, Jerry, Treesha, Katharina, Yemi, Kojo, Celina, Gianni, Andrew and Yasmine. And also many thanks to Patrick, Nikolai, Cem, Eva, Beate, Sophia, Madeleine and the entire team involved at the Max Ernst Museum / LVR. Detailed information about the whole project and people involved are available through the micro-site:
